The trek to Boiling Lake took about 6 hours,including sitting in hot sulphur springs, getting mud facials, and eating lunch by the gigantic fucking Boiling Lake.

all the trails were awesomely maintained.


So we sleep in the basement of Auntie's.
Totally weird, on pilly sheets, freaking out that I may get scabies.
Wake up early, decide to head to Roxy's Mountain Lodge a night early,
as staying at Auntie's wasn't quite an option.

We get to Roxy's. It's delightful.
We have a nice big room, with a nice big shower, and a nice big bed.
And a balcony.
A balcony that overlooks the mountains, a beatup old van, and a pile of lumber.
Decent enough.

After ham and cheese sandwiches (important fact) we hike around Freshwater and Boeri Lake.
Totally rad.
